The Films
Reynolds is the Bandit, a king-of-the-road trucker hero who accepts the ultimate challenge: pick up a truckload of coors beer in Texarkana - the closest place it can be legally sold - and haul it across-country to Atlanta in 48 hours. The reward.. $80,000! The result.. The wildest series of car chases and crashes ever filmed in this hilarious all time box office smash!
It's another race against time for Burt, Sally and Jackie!
This time the Bandit is hired to transport a pregnant elephant from Miami to the Republican Party convention in Dallas. But old rival sheriff Buford T. Justice will do whatever he must to prevent Bandit from getting that $400,000 fee. And this time Buford T. has some relatives to help him in his search, his brothers Reginald and Gaylord -- all played to the hilt by the incomparable Jackie Gleason. To add to Bandit's troubles, his co-pilot on the job is his former girlfriend Carrie.
Smokey's back! And the Bandit is at it again!
The notorious Enos Brothers challenge Sheriff Buford T. Justice to make a rather special delivery from Miami to Texas in under 24 hours. The grand prize is one-quarter of a million dollars
